Yanira Cedillos is still missing from the Moses Lake, WA area and there don’t appear to be any new developments in the search for her. While her case inches closer to the one-week-mark, it’s becoming more and more apparent that something is certainly wrong. So why haven’t there been any arrest or search warrants announced by authorities?

According to this news report, police are still searching for Yanira Cedillos and giving this case high priority. However, no arrest or search warrants have been mentioned in the latest statements given by the authorities. This is troubling because, according to the missing woman’s family, she had a restraining order against her ex, who had been violent with her in the past. Since she was supposedly last seen leaving with this man, shouldn’t there be some kind of urgency in locating him as well as her? If this man has been a danger to Yanira in the past, he should be considered a person of interest at the very least.

In previous reports, it was stated that the home of Yanira Cedillos was checked, but what about the home of Juan Gastilum? So far Yanira has been missing for five days and the lack of information and apparent movement is absolutely confusing.

Hopefully some positive news comes up in the near future. In the meantime, the disappearance of Yanira Cedillos is not getting near enough attention. Please feel free to share the flyer pictured above to get the word out about her case. If you know anything about her disappearance or if you feel like you might have seen this missing woman, please call the number on the flyer as soon as possible.
