A cold case more than two decades old is back in media headlines, and the reason why is shocking. Numerous sources are reporting that a young woman has surfaced with claims that she is Diamond Bradley — a child who vanished from the Southside of Chicago. Are there any truths to the claims being made by this woman, or is this just another example of an unwell person taking advantage of a sad case of missing children for their own personal gain?

According to Fox News, A woman has come forward claiming to be Diamond Bradley, who vanished 22-years-ago with her sister. The two girls who vanished from Chicago were only three and 10-years-old at the time of their disappearances. Diamond was the younger of the two sisters, and would be in her 20s right now.

The woman claiming to be the long-missing toddler, took to TikTok to make her claims — similar to the woman who went viral for claiming to be missing British child Madeleine McCann. She’s also been in touch with family members of the missing girls, as confirmed by the girls’ aunt. It’s hard to tell if there are any truths to the claims made by the TikToker, but it’s good that this situation has attracted attention to this decades-old cold case. It should be noted, however, that the woman claiming to be Diamond Bradley has not mentioned her older sister, Tionda Bradley, who vanished along with the three-year-old girl all those years ago.
