Gretchen Fleming is still missing, but her loved ones aren’t giving up — and neither are the detectives who are intensely looking for any clues behind her disappearance. That’s why the reward for the missing woman has been doubled from the previous amount of $32,000. But will an increased reward be effective in locating her?

WCHS News reports that the reward offered in the disappearance of Gretchen Fleming has been raised to the amount of $65k — double the amount it was in previous weeks. The increased reward comes after reports confirming that the only person of interest in this case is a man who once had a 12-year-long career in law enforcement. Police have searched the home of Preston Pierce at least two times in the search for Gretchen Fleming, but nothing has come up as far as evidence goes.

Gretchen Fleming disappeared nearly a month ago after being spotted with the person of interest at My Way Lounge in Parkersburg. Her disappearance is classified as out of character, and her loved ones believe something might have happened to her. Judging from the evidence in the case thus far, it’s safe to say something did in fact happen to this missing woman. Hopefully detectives are spending their energy on the right person of interest while they continue the search.
