Another trans woman has been murdered, and authorities in Chicago are looking for her killer. The body of Tatiana Labelle was found badly beaten and stuffed in a garbage bin last week, after she’d been missing for a handful of days. The details surrounding this tragic case are sparse, but one thing is for certain: This slain woman deserves justice.

According to The Kansas City Star, Tatiana Labelle had been missing for several days. Her loved ones hadn’t heard from her since March 13th, but her sister has been vocal in finding her. On several Facebook posts the sister of the slain Chicago woman posted multiple times looking for her sibling leading up to the gruesome Friday discovery. Now, the loved ones of Tatiana Labelle are going through the grief of losing their loved one.

Tatiana was at least the second trans woman to go missing in Chicago over the past week, and one of countless trans women to be murdered in the United States over the past two years alone. Will this slain woman get the justice she deserves?
