Heather Hodges disappeared a decade ago under incredibly suspicious circumstances. The last person to see her before her disappearance was her boyfriend, a detail that was long a point of intense suspicion among the missing woman’s loved ones. Now those suspicions are being confirmed with the indictment of the man who last saw Heather alive.

According to WSET News, Paul “Scooter” Jordan II has been indicted on several charges associated with the disappearance of Heather Hodges. Among the multiple charges, the boyfriend of the missing woman is charged with murdering her and concealing her corpse.

This indictment comes just days after the 10 year anniversary of Heather’s disappearance, and it’s a bittersweet update in this cold case. The body of the missing woman still hasn’t been located, and “Scooter” isn’t necessarily being cooperative. Her loved ones are at least getting the justice they deserve in Heather’s case, but they still don’t know exactly what happened to her. What’s worse, they don’t have a body to put to rest.

Hopefully the prosecution has a very strong case against the boyfriend of Heather Hodges. While it’s possible to convict someone of murder without a body of evidence, it’s a difficult feat to achieve.
