It’s been over eight years, and authorities in Toledo, Ohio are still looking for Tina Williamson. The missing woman’s family is also still holding on to hope that she will be found safe and alive. However, with nearly a decade passed in this case, it’s hard to speculate on a positive ending.

Tina Williamson was last seen by her loved ones around April 10, 2022 — but wasn’t reported missing until around four days later. Now it’s been a year since loved ones have had any contact with the missing woman. ABC News 13 reports that a balloon release is planned by Tina’s family, as they continue to push for answers behind her disappearance. Her mother fears that she will never find Tina, but her family is still holding on to hope that she will be found someday.

When she disappeared in 2022, Tina Williamson was last seen leaving her home in a vehicle with a couple of friends. Sometime after this last known physical sighting of the missing woman, she texted her boyfriend and told him that she was in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She told him she was on her way back — and he expected her to come see him. She never returned that night, and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

With eight years passed in the disappearance of Tina Williamson, it’s hard to imagine that she’s still out there — alive and safe. Nonetheless, there are cases of missing people who have vanished for decades, only to be found later completely okay. Hopefully that’s the case in this woman’s disappearance, but it doesn’t seem entirely likely.

If you know anything about the disappearance of Tina Williamson, or if you think you’ve spotted her at all over the past eight years, please do not hesitate to contact Crimestoppers with any pertinent information at 419-255-1111.
