An arrest has been made in the case of a missing woman who vanished nearly two decades ago in Massachusetts — and to no surprise, it’s the woman’s estranged boyfriend. This brings an end to a search that became a cold case buried under inches of proverbial dust, but now justice must be served.

WCVB News reports that 33-year-old David Pena has been arrested in association with the disappearance of his former girlfriend Felicia McGuyer. Felicia disappeared in 2007 under suspicious circumstances. Very little has ever been published in regards to her disappearance — and even the various missing persons profiles about her on the internet have few details. However, in 2017, the FBI was reportedly involved with a search in a wooded area that might have been connected to David Pena, who has finally been arrested all the way in the state of Florida. The Florida man was arrested on a warrant that was issued in association with the presumed murder of the missing Massachusetts woman.

Hopefully the loved ones of this missing woman get the justice they deserve, and hopefully this story gives other families of missing people hope that justice can come even after many, many years.
