Dawnita Wilkerson vanished in 2020, and her loved ones are still doing everything in their power to find the missing woman. In the town of Evansville, Indiana, September 15th is now being called “Find Dawnita Day,” as a yearly reminder that the woman is still missing now three days later.

News 14 reports that the loved ones of Dawnita Wilkerson have organized a vendor event in hopes of sparking interest in the search, as well as to raise funds for the search.

“I miss her. Her laughing, her dancing, her crazy singing,” said her aunt Nora while reminiscing.

Dawnita Wilkerson disappeared on September 15, 2020 under mysterious circumstances. The FBI has her case listed under the kidnapping category of their current active missing persons cases. This detail strongly implies that foul play could be a factor surrounding her disappearance.
