A villainously racist woman was arrested recently in Indiana, after she reportedly stabbed an Asian university student in a hate-fueled, random attack. Billie. R. Davis has been charged in association with the crime, and fortunately the victim of her anti-Asian assault is going to survive — but what will come of the racist madwoman?
People Magazine reports that 56-year-old Billie R. Davis maliciously attacked an unnamed Asian woman who was riding a transit bus in Bloomington. The incident reportedly took place on January 11th, when the unnamed victim stood to exit the transit bus. According to the woman, who is a student of Indiana University, a passenger came out of nowhere and began to “strike her in the head.” That random passenger was the 56-year-old aforementioned Billie R. Davis, and she wasn’t simply hitting the victim. She was stabbing her.
According to security footage obtained by authorities, the victim (who isn’t being named to protect her identity), had no other interaction with Davis, who attacked her with no provocation. Another passenger on the bus followed Davis after she fled from the bus, and called 911. Authorities were able to arrest her very shortly following the malicious and race-fueled attack.
Billie R. Davis has been charged with attempted murder, battery by means of a weapon and aggravated battery in association with the attack that took place on January 11th. The community of Bloomington is now pulling together under this reminder that Asian hate is still very much alive, after an observable increase in anti-Asian hate crimes over the past handful of years. Hopefully the woman who perpetrated this latest attack in Indiana faces the stiffest possible judgment.
