A Texas woman has been arrested after she reportedly murdered her six-year-old daughter, before causing a chaotic scene in the nude at the apartment complex where she and her deceased child resided. That’s not all: The reason the Texas mother killed her little girl is downright sad.
The Messenger reports that San Antonio Police Department authorities responded to calls of a disturbance at an apartment complex in the area. That’s where they encountered Nephiterea Sancho, who was completely nude and running around the property. The Texas mom was apprehended at this time, and officers entered her place of residence. That is where they found the slain body of six-year-old Hosanna Sancho. The child, according to arresting officers, had been fatally wounded. Officers noted that the child appeared to have trauma to her body, but didn’t clarify on an apparent cause of death.
When interrogated by authorities, the naked Texas woman claimed that she’d murdered her daughter as a sacrifice. She is quoted by police as saying that she killed the child because “God told me to sacrifice her.”
Sadly, this isn’t the first time Nephiterea Sancho has been in trouble for injuring a child. She had previously done time at a state hospital after being found legally insane on charges associated with “injury to a child.” That was more than a decade ago, and Sancho has since been allowed access to children even though she posed a danger to them. Hopefully this time will be the final time, though it is a shame that the victim in this incident did not survive.
