A missing New York woman’s family is seeking answers after she disappeared around five months ago, and the circumstances of her disappearance are suspicious to say the least. Melissa Lee Conklin hasn’t been in contact with her loved ones since August of 2022, after she was last seen heading to the state of California with an unidentified man.
Newsbreak reports that Melissa Lee Conklin’s phone has also been shut off since she disappeared sometime in August 2022. Her loved ones say that they’ve even tried contacting her on Facebook, but their messages get left on read with no response. They have a hard time believing that their loved one would do this to them voluntarily, so they are worried that something bad has happened to her. That’s an understandable suspicion, since she disappeared with an unknown man. Nothing is known about this person, such as how Conklin was acquainted with him, and — of course — his intentions.
There aren’t many other details available in the disappearance of Melissa Lee Conklin, which in and of itself is a disturbing element to the case.
