Eleven-year-old Madalina Cojocari is still missing, and authorities in North Carolina are doing everything they can to thoroughly investigate her disappearance. The latest updates coming out of this case seem to imply a heavy suspicion against the parents of the girl, which isn’t surprising since they waited for so long to even report her missing. Now authorities are expanding their search throughout the state and they’re specifically asking witnesses to come forward if they’ve seen the vehicle belonging to the missing child’s mother.

WSOCTV reports that detectives are seeking information about the Prius driven by Madalina Cojocari’s mother. In particular, they want to know if anyone throughout the state of North Carolina has seen the car driven by Madalina’s mother. Authorities are reaching out to a community over three hours away from where the little girl was lasts seen with this request. What leads them to believe that the mother of the little girl was out in that area — and what interest is it to the case? It seems that detectives already have some persons of interest in the disappearance of Madalina Cojocari, and they’re her parents.

The mother of Madalina Cojocari failed to report the 11-year-old child missing for several weeks before her disappearance was figured out by authorities. As mentioned in an earlier report here on The Justice Voice, this behavior is very similar to that of Casey Anthony, who most people believe killed her own daughter.
