Beverly Logan vanished from Belleville, Illinois in January, and her family is still pleading for help in locating her — or at least getting to the bottom of what might have happened to her. According to authorities, the missing woman was last seen driving a car with Alabama plates — which had been rented by an unknown male acquaintance, evidently. After she failed to get back into contact with her loved ones following this day, she was reported missing — but not until February 13th.

It’s now going on two months since Beverly Logan was last seen, and her family is worried that something happened to her. A search is planned for this weekend over the area where she was last seen earlier this year — and a similar event is being held in Missouri, reports say. Her family members are reminding the public that Logan is the mother of a seven-year-old child. This is a human being, a woman, a mother. Beverly Logan likely wouldn’t have abandoned her child for this length of time, much less have gone this long without being in contact with any of her family members or friends.

While searches are organized in Illinois and Missouri, are there any searches organized for the state of Alabama or any surrounding states? The detail of the car with Alabama plates indicates that there could have been some long distance travel involved with the last time she was seen. It’s likely someone came to see her from the state of Alabama, and it’s probable that she could have been taken there by this person — whether involuntarily or otherwise. Really, any avenue should be investigated at this point.

If you know anything about the disappearance of Beverly Logan, please do the right thing and say something. Anyone with information or any potential sighting information can be reported to the St. Clair Co. Sheriff’s Office at 618-277-3505.
