James Taylor Wall was last seen at his residence in Double Springs, Alabama (Winston County), on January 25, 2015. He’s now been missing for eight years, and his case remains unsolved. What happened to this missing Alabama man, and who might be responsible for his disappearance?

There aren’t a lot of details available in this Alabama cold case, but what is known about the disappearance of James Taylor Wall is disturbing. According to NAMUS, his other told authorities that he was badly injured at the time of his disappearance. The woman claimed that he’d been in a “serious physical altercation.” The details of this altercation aren’t available to the public, nor have any persons been identified regarding this violent incident.

Some reports say the missing man might have been seen at Bankhead National Forest around Houston, Alabama — but no definitive proof of this has been provided. If any media reports exist of this missing person, they’re not easily found through a Google search, either.

So what happened to James Taylor Wall? So very little attention has been given to this man’s disappearance to the point that his case just remains one of the numerous archived in missing persons databases. This is a common theme in the state of Alabama, which is home to hundreds of missing people who are waiting to be found. Unfortunately, the vast majority of these cases go unsolved for years.
