The home that was searched this week is believed to be the residence where the missing Oakley woman was last seen, but detectives aren’t sharing any further details surrounding the inhabitants of the home. What should be noted is that Alexis was reportedly last seen at her former boyfriend’s home, which happens to be in Antioch.
Authorities believe that Alexis Gabe is not missing voluntarily — and has likely fallen victim to foul play. Given the circumstances surrounding this disappearance, it’s easy to see who the primary suspect at least should be in this case. It wouldn’t be surprising at all to learn that the home searched by detectives this week is inhabited by the former boyfriend, and it wouldn’t be surprising to learn that he may be the unidentified man seen on security footage walking away from Alexis’s abandoned car. Hopefully detectives are building a very strong case, and that’s why they’re shying away from naming and shaming the man they clearly suspect.
