Two separate prostitutes between December 20th and January 7th reportedly told police that Ascuncion picked them up and forced them into sexual acts. Both alleged victims claimed that the Las Vegas man used a firearm to threaten them. Non-virtual sex work (i.e., physical prostitution) is a dangerous line of work, especially in large cities like Las Vegas -- where rates of non-virtual sex work have increased by 50% in recent years. Prostitutes -- especially street walkers -- are often victims of violent crime and robberies. It's fortunat...

It's been over 13 years since Michelle Parker vanished under suspicious circumstances, and even though it seems obvious what happened to her, nothing's been done to bring her family justice. Meanwhile, the missing Florida woman still hasn't been found, even though her case has remained of high interest all this time. People reports that Michelle Parker still hasn't been foun d, but her loved ones are still seeking answers behind what happened to her more than a decade ago. She was last seen when she dropped her three-year-old twins off with their father -- her estranged  fiancee -- who had a reported history of mistreating her. Their strained relationship was such public knowledge, that it had even once been aired out on an episode of The People's Court -- which reran on the day of her disappearance.  As I wrote in this 2015 article about her disappearance , the Michelle Parker case shares a lot of similarities with the disappearance (murder) of Susan Cox Powell....
