Police: Woman Killed Child with Nail Polish Remover, Batteries and Screws

A Pennsylvania woman is accused of murdering her boyfriend’s child in the most despicable fashion — and the dummy left an evidence trail of the entire plot. The incident took place last June, but now officials in PA believe they have enough evidence to fully prosecute the accused killer. Some of the details surrounding that evidence are getting viral attention.

Multiple media reports are sharing details surrounding the alleged murder of an 18-month-old child that took place in June 2023. When Aleisia Owens was arrested last year, the 20-year-old Pennsylvania woman stood accused of killing the toddler almost instantly. An investigation has concluded that Owens deliberately and premeditatively killed her boyfriend’s toddler daughter by gradually feeding her items that were harmful. Some of these items included screws and small batteries. But she also allegedly fed the 18-month-old baby acetone-based nail polish remover.

The investigation has also reportedly determined that Owens researched various ways that children could die through ingesting household items. This showed the premeditated nature of the child’s murder.

The Pennsylvania woman has been charged with homicide, attempted homicide and other charges associated with the abuse and mistreatment of the child who died. She is currently awaiting trial, while the biological parents and loved ones of the infant she allegedly murdered continue to mourn their loss.
