Las Vegas man Accused of Multiple Violent Rapes

  A Las Vegas man has been arrested in association with several violent rapes of local prostitutes, and authorities are seeking help in locating other possible victims. Police say 29-year-old Denver Baoec-Ascuncion was arrested earlier this month after multiple women came forward recounting recent incidents of kidnapping and sexual assault. 8 News Now reports that the 28-year-old Las Vegas man faces multiple counts , and there may be other victims. Two separate prostitutes between December 20th and January 7th reportedly told police that Ascuncion picked them up and forced them into sexual acts. Both alleged victims claimed that the Las Vegas man used a firearm to threaten them. Non-virtual sex work (i.e., physical prostitution) is a dangerous line of work, especially in large cities like Las Vegas -- where rates of non-virtual sex work have increased by 50% in recent years. Missing in Oklahoma: Where is Callie Santis?

 


Police in Oklahoma City are looking for Callie Santis, a 34-year-old woman who hasn't been in contact with her loved ones since early this morning. Santis is reportedly in need of vital medication, which she is unable to take while missing. Her loved ones are concerned for her and are desperately trying to locate her.

Fox 25 News reports that 34-year-old Callie Santis was last seen at her apartment on the 8300th Block of North Council Road at approximately 2:00 a.m. She was reportedly wearing a maroon Harry Potter outfit. Unfortunately, there aren't any other details in her disappearance at this time.

Kentucky woman Torilena May Fields has been arrested after police say she murdered her mother in a shocking and gruesome crime. Police say the 32-year-old not only shot and stabbed her 68-year-old mother, but she dismembered her and then tried to cook her body parts until they were charred. The Daily Mail reports that 32-year-old Torilena May Fields was arrested last week after a bizarre confrontation with authorities, who discovered a horrific scene at the home of her 68-year-old mother.
