Another post is going viral on Reddit's AITA, and this time people are a little are divided on whether or not the author of the post is in the wrong. One thing has been gathered from the story, however, and that's that OP's wife was a cheater who is now sitting with the consequences of her actions. The author of the post shared with Reddit users that he's been married to his wife for six years, sharing a five-year-old son between the two of them. However, he'd just learned two weeks ago that he isn't the actual father of the five-year-old boy. He had suspicions, and after secretly getting a paternity test, he found out that his suspicions were true, which meant that his wife indeed cheated on him a year into their marriage. Megan Stedman Update: Domestic Violence Possible Factor in Woman's Disappearance

The search for Megan Stedman continues nearly a month after she vanished from the area of Bozeman/Livingston, Montana. Now new details are coming through the media, which have shed a negative light on the missing woman’s boyfriend. Loved ones say that domestic violence could be playing a role in her disappearance, and if that’s the case, it might already be too late for Megan.

KXLY News reports that Megan Stedman was in contact with a close friend of hers shortly before she disappeared. This friend, named Janelle, claims that Megan was a victim of domestic violence. What’s further troubling is the last conversation that Janelle claims she had with Megan before she vanished. According to the missing Montana woman’s friend, Stedman called her in “a state of panic,” asking for money and assistance to get away from her abusive ex-boyfriend.

These new details cast a disturbing, but all-too-familiar shadow over the woman’s disappearance. Victims of domestic violence are in the most danger when they attempt to leave their abusers, and it’s incredibly common for these situations to end in death. In fact, the majority of female victims of violent crime and homicide are victimized by romantic partners. If domestic violence did indeed play a role in the disappearance of Megan Stedman, then it’s incredibly possible that the search for her will end in heartbreak.

Hopefully authorities in Montana can get to the bottom of this disappearance before it’s too late.
