A Florida woman is in trouble after she reportedly used dog pee for a court ordered drug test. Forty-eight-year-old Jessica Beatty had previously been arrested on possession of drug paraphernalia, and was ordered by the court to stay off of drugs and submit to urine tests. Apparently she thought she found a loophole that could would allow her to continue using while complying with the court orders. She was wrong.
Crime Online reports that the Florida woman was arrested after she arrived at her probation appointment with a urine sample in her possession. This was an obvious red flag to workers at the facility, since a probation officer is supposed to monitor the retrieval of the urine sample. When confronted about why she’d brought a sample into the facility instead of following the rules, Beatty folded and confessed to what she had planned.
The Florida woman told staff that she’d collected dog pee from her aunt’s pet dog, as an attempt to avoid using her own urine during the testing process. She was arrested at the facility and charged in association with fraudulent practices. She has since been sent back to jail.
