Las Vegas man Accused of Multiple Violent Rapes

  A Las Vegas man has been arrested in association with several violent rapes of local prostitutes, and authorities are seeking help in locating other possible victims. Police say 29-year-old Denver Baoec-Ascuncion was arrested earlier this month after multiple women came forward recounting recent incidents of kidnapping and sexual assault. 8 News Now reports that the 28-year-old Las Vegas man faces multiple counts , and there may be other victims. Two separate prostitutes between December 20th and January 7th reportedly told police that Ascuncion picked them up and forced them into sexual acts. Both alleged victims claimed that the Las Vegas man used a firearm to threaten them. Non-virtual sex work (i.e., physical prostitution) is a dangerous line of work, especially in large cities like Las Vegas -- where rates of non-virtual sex work have increased by 50% in recent years. Was Diana Rojas Kidnapped? Family of Missing Teen Receive Disturbing Phone Call Two Months After Disappearance

Missing 15-year-old Diana Rojas was last seen approximately two months ago from the Long Beach area, but very few updates appear to exist in the investigation behind her disappearance. Meanwhile, her loved ones claim to have gotten a terrifying phone call from the missing teenager, leading to the belief that she might have been kidnapped — and might be held captive. Was this missing teen kidnapped?

When Diana Rojas disappeared two months ago, witnesses claimed to see her get into a vehicle with a man that was unknown to the missing teen’s family. Her family were immediately concerned that something awful had happened, and their fears were confirmed by a phone call they recently received. According to ABC 7 News, the parents of the missing teenager claimed to get a phone call from the 15-year-old, who said she had been beaten — and that she didn’t know where she was.

Kentucky woman Torilena May Fields has been arrested after police say she murdered her mother in a shocking and gruesome crime. Police say the 32-year-old not only shot and stabbed her 68-year-old mother, but she dismembered her and then tried to cook her body parts until they were charred.
