A Michigan man is dead after pointing a gun at a woman during a traffic stop. The man was being sought in the murder and dismemberment of his wife at the time of the stop, which ended in state troopers shooting him dead.
Fox News reports that 44-year-old Tony Roy was shot by troopers after he pulled a firearm and pointed it at a female passenger in the vehicle with him. The Michigan man had been on the run after murdering and dismembering his wife, whose remains were found by authorities on Saturday. His crime spree has come to an end, but many questions remain in this disturbing case.
The identity of the female passenger who was threatened with the gun hasn’t been published at this time. However, it’s assumed that she’s a victim in this as much as the woman he murdered. Hopefully an investigation returns more answers in time.
