One thing has been gathered from the story, however, and that's that OP's wife was a cheater who is now sitting with the consequences of her actions. The Madeleine McCann case remains a media circus more than 15 years after the little girl vanished from her parents’ rental flat in Portugal. Now that a 21-year-old woman is claiming to be the missing child, parent Kate and Gerry McCann have acknowledged her — which, at the least, should put an end to this sideshow of buffoonery.
Multiple media sources have revealed that Madeleine McCann’s parents have okayed the DNA testing of 21-year-old Julia Faustyna, who has made a spectacle of herself on social media claiming to be the long-missing child. Faustyna has gotten famous on TikTok for saying that she believes that she is Madeleine McCann. The 21-year-old woman posts frequently with different stories and claims associated with this belief. The woman has even claimed to have asked members of her family for DNA tests to prove that she is who they say she is, and to prove that she wasn’t kidnapped and trafficked before coming into their custody.
To no surprise, the family members of the woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann are not on her side. Her family has reportedly disowned her over these claims, citing that she is having mental health problems that she is ruining her family’s reputation with her behavior. Truth be told, her family members are probably correct. After all, they do know her more than anyone — and in reality she is probably not Madeleine McCann.
Nonetheless, anything is possible in the search for the missing child. She was left unsupervised by her parents when she was only three-years-old, in an unfamiliar place with her two infant siblings. While most of the evidence in this case seems to imply that Kate and Gerry McCann know exactly what happened to their daughter, there is still the possibility that someone abducted her. If another traveling holidayer kidnapped the child, they could have quite easily taken her to a different country — such as Poland or Germany, where the woman making these latest claims is said to be residing.
The only problem with Julia Faustyna’s claims — aside from the major possibility that she’s a liar, of course — is that her age doesn’t line up with Maddie’s age. Madeleine McCann would be only 19-years-old right now, but Julia is reportedly as old as 22-years-old, with some media reports claiming that she is 20-years-old, and another claiming that she is 21. That’s not to say that there isn’t a slim chance that she was kidnapped and then her age fabricated over the course of her entire life, but it just doesn’t seem likely that this is what happened.
At any rate, it’s good that Kate and Gerry McCann have agreed to DNA test this woman making claims of being their missing daughter. It’s most likely that this test will come out showing no relation between the McCanns and Faustyna (also reported as Julia Wendell), but the possibility remains that her suspicions might turn out true. The DNA test will confirm one way or the other and erase any need for another conspiracy theory to arise in the search for Madeleine.
