An official update has finally come in the case of Justin Kyle Lovett. It’s finally been confirmed that human remains found more than a month ago have been identified as the missing Hamilton, Alabama man. This brings a bittersweet end to the search for Lovett, but the question still remains as to how he died in the first place. Numerous other questions hover over the disappearance and death of the once-missing young man, but it doesn’t look like those questions will ever be answered. Over the course of the disappearance of Justin Lovett, police in Hamilton, Alabama have not only failed to search for him — but they’ve absolutely refused to offer any statements about their so-called investigation — something that is their civic and tax-funded duty.
According to The Journal Record, the remains found over a month ago in Hamilton, Alabama by Mitchell Hill have been identified as missing man Justin Kyle Lovett, who disappeared nearly a year ago under suspicious — and mysterious — circumstances. The Journal Record writes that dental records were used to make the identification. However, a cause of death hasn’t been mentioned in the scant media coverage. What is being shared is that Hamilton Police Department is working in close contact with the family of Justin Kyle Lovett, which is to be expected — but just how useful could they be when they’ve failed to be useful in this case thus far?
The Hamilton Police Department has done little more than notify the public of Justin’s disappearance over the course of more than eight months. Numerous people in the Marion County area of Alabama have searched for Justin over the course of his disappearance — with his loved ones even claiming to have searched the very same area where his remains were ultimately found. While no searches or police updates took place at all for several months, Hamilton Police officials suddenly found his body less than 24 hours after they were publicly criticized for the lack of movement in their so-called search. Now what’s next in the case of Justin Kyle Lovett? Are police going to declare his death a suicide like they’ve done with several other missing people and those who have otherwise died? Are they going to fail to perform an autopsy as they’ve admittedly done to at least one other missing person that ended up found deceased? Something stinks in Hamilton, Alabama — and nobody is advocating for the missing people and other voiceless in the area.
As for Justin Lovett’s disappearance and death, it doesn’t look like a lot of answers are going to make their way to public eyes. Instead, the local rumor-mill will continue to churn out stories and conspiracies while suspicious characters continue to live their lives unscathed by the judging eyes and hushed whispers of their possible involvement with multiple disappearances in the area. Hopefully the increasingly-aware public can pull together in a way that stops this growing problem, before all that remains are outlaws, victims and a police force that is either so inept — or so corrupt — that it serves the former before the latter. Judging from this video that’s been circulating, it’s already happening.
