Alexis Ware has been missing for a year, and her case remains as much a mystery today as it’s been throughout the past twelve months. The South Carolina woman vanished under suspicious circumstances, but authorities have never been able to figure out exactly what happened to her. Now there are a couple of new updates in her case an entire year after she went missing, but she still hasn’t been found.
Numerous news sources are reporting on the one-year-anniversary of Alexis Ware’s disappearance, and a few are sharing new updates in the search for her. According to WYFF News, police have announced that the father of Alexis’s son is no longer considered a person of interest in her case. This comes after about a year of speculation and suspicion over the man, who was last to see Ware before she vanished from a 7-Eleven convenience store. When Alexis Ware was last seen, she was dropping off her son to visit with her ex, but vanished sometime following the exchange. Over the course of the past year, detectives have reportedly investigated this man to the point that they believe he had no conceivable involvement in her disappearance.
Authorities have also announced that they’ve gone through several miles of terrain over the course of the search for Alexis Ware, none of which have turned out any evidence or clues. They also revealed that they’ve received a number of fake tips regarding Ware’s disappearance, which have only worsened the matter. They’re still asking for concrete, factual tips from the public, though.
With an entire year behind us in the search for Alexis Ware, it’s hard to see any kind of positive outcome. It’s highly likely that this missing woman suffered some kind of foul play, but no concrete evidence has pointed in one direction or the other. Hopefully another year doesn’t go by without answers in this mysterious case.
