Ana Walshe is still missing after she was reportedly last seen on New Year’s Day, but authorities have repeatedly stopped the ground search for the missing woman. What gives? It’s now been over a week since anyone has seen or heard from the woman, and evidence indicates that she never made it to her intended destination when she’d planned to board a plane for work on New Year’s Day. Meanwhile, the husband of the missing Cohasset woman has given inconsistent statements, and his checkered past has people suspicious of him.
Fox News reports that authorities have stopped ground searches for Ana Walshe, but offered no real reason as to why. Officials released a statement which confirmed the decision to end the search, and it said that two days of searching yielded no results. In other words, police are “giving up” because apparently two days of ground searching is just too hard for them, which is really disheartening since a missing woman is involved. Hopefully authorities are moving on to different means of searching, and this doesn’t end up a cold case.
