The Anna Walshe case has come up with an obvious update on Sunday, with the arrest of her husband. This comes after several updates that included criticisms of the husbands’ changing stories about when he saw his missing wife last. It’s no surprise to see this update, but what’s next in the search for the missing Massachusetts woman?
Numerous media sources are reporting that Brian Walshe has been arrested for “misleading police.” He’s set to appear in court on Monday, and answer to the charges. This is a bit of a change from police once-saying he was being “fully cooperative.” Whatever changed between the man, and the authorities investigating the whereabouts of his wife, it’s not being shared in reports yet.
Ana Walshe disappeared sometime on New Year’s Day from the home she shared with her husband Brian Walshe. In the beginning he claimed that she’d gotten a rideshare to a nearby airport so she could catch a flight to work. However, he later admitted that he never saw her get into a rideshare, nor did he ever see her leave the home. There is probably a lot of information that this man is keeping from police, so the arrest might be useful in keeping an eye on him until he talks.
Ana Walshe, meanwhile, is still missing. Ground searches were recently called off before the arrest of her husband. Will searches continue?
