Authorities in North Dakota are looking for another missing Indigenous woman. Her name is Monica Acevedo and she hasn’t been seen since December 28th. There are very few details in this developing case, but with each day that passes the more urgent the search for this missing woman will become.
According to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women’s USA Facebook page, Monica Acevedo was last seen in the Bismarck/Mandan area around the 28th of December. It’s now been over two days since anyone has seen or heard from her.
Acevedo is described as a 32-year-old Hispanic woman, standing at around five-feet-tall and approximately 135 lbs. If you have any information about the disappearance of this young woman, please do not hesitate to contact the Mandan Police Department at (701) 667-3250.
