FAFO: Cheating Wife Learns Consequences in Viral AITA Post

Another post is going viral on Reddit's AITA, and this time people are a little are divided on whether or not the author of the post is in the wrong. One thing has been gathered from the story, however, and that's that OP's wife was a cheater who is now sitting with the consequences of her actions. The author of the post shared with Reddit users that he's been married to his wife for six years, sharing a five-year-old son between the two of them. However, he'd just learned two weeks ago that he isn't the actual father of the five-year-old boy. He had suspicions, and after secretly getting a paternity test, he found out that his suspicions were true, which meant that his wife indeed cheated on him a year into their marriage. "I immediately confronted my wife and called her a wh*re in my anger and many other names, she started crying and explained that she hid it because she didn't want to break our happy family of 3," the man wrote. He decided he wa

Lawsuit: Aurora Pro Services Fired Atheists For Refusing To Participate In Christian Prayer

Two atheists in North Carolina are suing their former employer after they say they were both fired for refusing to participate in Christian-oriented prayer — and now the company is on public blast. Aurora Pro Services allegedly required employees in the Southern U.S. state to participate in group prayers, which sometimes focused on employees who weren’t performing as well as others. This is such a clear violation of rights that it’s hard to see any reason why the former employees’ lawsuit won’t be successful. According to LadBible , the two North Carolina atheists were fired in separate incidents , but both firings suspiciously took place after each employee had refused to participate in group prayer due to the clash with their own spiritual beliefs. The lawsuit has been filed on behalf of the two former employees by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, who say that Aurora Pro Services acted unlawfully. The lawsuit alleges that the manager of the business would even take roll c

Florida Woman Stabbed Husband Over 140 Times

A Florida woman has been convicted and sentenced in association with the violent killing of her own husband. Now she’s likely going to spend the rest of her life behind bars. This is a truly shocking case of domestic homicide, and the details are downright gruesome. ABC Action News reports that 62-year-old Joan P. Burke stabbed her husband over 140 times in February. Reports at the time claimed that authorities arrived at Burke’s residence and found her disabled husband dead in a massive pool of blood. Multiple knives were around his body, and blood was smeared all over the walls. When they found the Florida woman, she was sitting in bed and refusing to speak. Joan P. Burke was sentenced this week to spend 35 years in prison for murdering her husband. At her age, that means she may likely never see the outside of a prison for the rest of her life.

R. Kelly Gets What He Deserves

Singer R. Kelly has finally been held fully accountable for decades of abuse on women and young girls. The disgraced R&B legend was just sentenced to 30 years of imprisonment, bringing justice to his victims after years of speaking out against him. Multiple sources are reporting that R. Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years federal imprisonment, and Boston.Com reports that he was also ordered to pay a fine in the amount of $100k. It seems like a piddly amount considering the years of accusations he has faced and the crimes he is convicted of committing. Nonetheless, justice has been served and his victims can hopefully move 0n to better futures.

New York Mom Who Ran Over Infant Should Face Neglect Charges

A New York mom is the focus of attention this week after she reportedly ran over and killed her 18-month-old daughter with an SUV in her own driveway. Authorities are calling the incident a tragic accident, and the mother is reportedly not facing any charges related to the incident — but why not? According to People Magazine , the unnamed mother removed her 18-month-old child from her carseat and allowed her to play in the yard while she unpacked groceries in the driveway. Instead of checking on her daughter to see where she was, or even bothering to put her indoors, the New York mom got back in her SUV and attempted to pull the vehicle into her garage. That’s when she felt the SUV run over something, and she heard the impact. When she got out of the SUV to see what happened, she realized she had run completely over her infant daughter, who she says ran in front of the SUV as she pulled forward. There’s no doubt that this is an unthinkable tragedy — and something that the mother of th

Thinking Of Moving to Las Vegas? Don’t.

Las Vegas is great for a quickie vacation, what with the flashy lights, casinos and entertainment on The Strip — but what about living here as a longterm resident? You probably won’t be surprised to learn that Sin City is a lot like other tourist traps; It’s a great place to visit, but living here is certainly not for everyone. If you’re seriously considering living here, you might want to consider some of the following before making a final decision. Segregation and economic disparity For being a melting-pot type of city that is teaming with diversity, Las Vegas appears to be almost completely segregated. This is a pre-existing problem that has endured since the days of actual segregation, when African Americans were forced to live in a small part of town called ’The Westside’ in the 1940s. Between the 40s and the 60s, the Westside became the ”Black” side of town. Over the course of the past few decades, the Eastside of town has become the Hispanic side of town. Las Vegas feels segr

How did Kristy Thomas Die? Remains of Woman Missing Since 2015 Located

Was Kristy Thomas murdered? The remains of a woman who’d been missing since 2015 have been located and identified, but now there are new questions to ask in this case, which apparently has never gotten much media attention. The remains were reportedly located in May by a utility worker who stumbled upon human bones in a field in Cleveland. It took until just recently for a positive identification to be made. The skeletal remains located in Cleveland back in May have been identified as Kristy Thomas, a young woman who vanished approximately seven years ago. According to Cleveland.Com , Thomas was reported missing in June 2015 — making the discovery of her remains all the more timely. There aren’t a lot of details regarding the circumstances of Kristy’s 2015 disappearance, but authorities have confirmed that they’re currently investigating her death. Yes, Children Can Be Abusive: Nanny Quits Job After Encounter with Violent Child

Can children be abusive? The short answer to this question is yes . Not everyone agrees with this fact, however, which has been shown through the overall reaction to a viral story involving a young nanny who just quit her job. The young woman reportedly stopped working for a family after an encounter with their child turned violent and left her shaken-up. While some in the public are reacting with laughter and snarky comments about the way this nanny handled the difficult situation, others are expressing downright dangerous sentiment that excuses potentially abusive behavior displayed by children. In fact, the apparent number of parents who are okay with their children displaying violent behavior is frightening. The Daily Dot recently covered the story of a young woman who had been working as a nanny for a family with a young boy. Even though the age of the boy hasn’t been clarified, the young nanny has explained that the incident took place when the child was “home from school,” imply

Unsolved Cases of Missing and Murdered Celebrities

Of the thousands of unsolved cases of missing and murdered people in the United States — and worldwide — a small number involve notorious and even famous people. It seems absurd that a celebrity can go missing, never to be found — and it’s absolutely mindblowing that there are celebrity murders that remain unsolved. Nonetheless, there are cases of famous people who have vanished without a trace, or whose murderers got away with it. The following list of cases highlight the unsolved murders and disappearances of celebrities. Rico Harris: Missing Harris was once famous for being a player for the Harlem Globetrotters, though this career was short lived due to a number of personal issues. The 37-year-old athlete disappeared in October 2014 after he was last seen by family after a brief visit. The circumstances of this man’s disappearance are confusing, which is why his case remains unsolved even as late as 2022. Thelma Todd’s mysterious death Thelma Todd was a sex symbol in the earliest d

Will I Go To Jail on my First Offense? Maybe.

There’s a first time for everything — including getting in trouble with the law. If you find yourself on the wrong side of the law for the first time, you probably have a lot of questions. One question you might have is whether or not you’re going to jail. Could you go to jail on your first arrest? The answer isn’t a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ unfortunately. Jail vs Prison In most arrests, the first place you’re taken by an officer is jail — where you either stay until you’re bailed out or you’re released on your own recognizance. However, in some cases, you may be arrested and cited by a police officer — but then released. This is called a “cite and release” arrest, and many states in the U.S. implement these types of arrests for certain low-risk crimes. For example, in the state of California a police officer will cite and release you on the promise that you’ll appear in court in association with the charges you’ve been given. If it is your first offense and you’re accused of a low risk

Mama June is Doing too Much, but We Love Her Anyway

Mama June is getting attention after she recently married a man she’d only been seeing for a handful of months. The matriarch of the notorious Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Toddlers in Tiaras, From Not to Hot, and Road to Redemption family of reality shows had been dating Justin Stroud for less than a year before deciding to tie the knot in a move that is shocking some, but entertaining others. People Magazine reports that Mama June Shannon married Stroud in a Georgia courthouse approximately six months after the two started dating. The marriage took place in March of this year, but only just recently making headlines. This move comes after June left her longtime boyfriend Gene Doak upon accusing him of abusing her while continuing to abuse alcohol and other substances. Two episodes of the reality show Mama June: Road to Redemption showcased the drama surrounding the end of June and Geno’s relationship recently, along with the revelation that the notorious matriarch might have been seei

American Teens Keep Committing Gun Violence

The incident in Uvalde has refreshed the endless debates surrounding gun violence in the United States, and what should be done to curb it. Meanwhile, media headlines continue to be flooded with incident-after-incident of gun violence involving teenagers. The number of weekly reports of violent crimes committed by teens is hard to ignore — especially with the fact that the Uvalde shooter was a teenager himself. Why are American teens committing gun crimes at such disturbing, frequent rates? Last week, an 18-year-old young man was allowed to legally purchase a semi-automatic firearm before using it to heartlessly murder several children and two teachers in Uvalde, Texas. This shooter — whose name will not be printed by The Justice Voice — was barely a legal adult, but was given a weapon of mass murder with no hesitation. This teenage killer is far from the first in his age group to commit a horrendous act of gun violence — and he certainly isn’t the youngest. In fact, the growing numbe

Hate Crimes Against LGBTQ Community Are on the Rise

It’s the first day of Pride Month, but what should be a time of celebration and visibility for the LGBTQ community is also a time of caution and harsh reminders of the hateful world that surrounds us. A recent report from the Department of Public Safety has revealed that hate crimes have doubled over the past two years — and that members of the LGBTQ community are frequent targets. KSL Newsradio reports that out of 134 reported hate crimes in 2021 , more than 40 of those incidents involved LGBTQ people as victims. These numbers serve as a stark reminder that people who do not identify as straight or cisgender are indeed in direct danger as these hate crime incidents increase across the board. KSL Newsradio also reports that a huge spike of these anti-LGBTQ hate crimes are taking place in the state of Utah — but this is a growing problem across the United States. Recently, a Washington man pleaded guilty to hate crime related charges after he reportedly set fire to a nightclub freq

Silly Nebraska Woman Thinks This Spider-Man Sculpture is Satanic

A Nebraska woman is getting media attention after demanding that a Spider-Man sculpture be removed from a zoo where it was being displayed. Now the city of Lincoln is being forced to defend the sculpture, which is very clearly not an effigy for Satanic worship. WANE News reports that the city of Lincoln, Nebraska is currently going head-to-head with a woman who believes they are promoting Satanism with the installment of the above-pictured sculpture. The unidentified woman has demanded that the statue be removed as it is a “hate crime against the church.” Meanwhile, the city of Lincoln says that this isn’t a city issue, and it is one of 50 different sculptures of a similar theme. The coordinator for the art installment has spoken out against the complaint, pointing out that the sculpture in question is obviously in the color of Spider-Man’s costume. The coordinator, according to CNN , has also explained that he believes the complainant may have seen the sculpture prior to it being fin
