Alexis Gabe is still missing after over three months, and the only update in her case is the release of footage that may show a potential suspect in her disappearance. It feels like the security footage could have been released by authorities far sooner, because the more time that passes the harder it will be to figure out what happened to the missing Oakley woman.
According to SFIST, the surveillance footage that was just released isn’t the best quality and may not be entirely helpful in finding Alexist Gabe. Nonetheless, authorities in Oakley believe that a possible suspect in her disappearance can be seen on the footage. The person that authorities believe to be the suspect isn’t easily identifiable in the video. His face is concealed, for one thing.
Alexis Gabe disappeared in January of this year after she was last seen visiting her boyfriend in Antioch. Her vehicle was later found abandoned near the boyfriend’s home, and video footage shows an unidentified man leaving the car. Cold this unidentified man be the boyfriend of the missing woman? Authorities in California aren’t commenting on whether or not Alexis’s boyfriend is at the very least a person of interest.
With it being over three months since she was last seen, it’s more and more likely that Alexis fell victim to foul play. With the video footage that’s been released, and other details in her case, that likelihood becomes even more stark. If Alexis was kidnapped forcibly, and her car abandoned after the fact, it’s possible that the missing woman is actually a murder victim. Hopefully authorities can get to the bottom of this case soon.
