What we know about missing Nevada woman’s case thus far
Naomi Irion has been missing for going on two weeks, after authorities in Fernley, Nevada say she was possibly abducted from the Walmart store parking lot. Over the course of the past week-plus, numerous details have come to public knowledge, but there is still a whole lot of confusion regarding the timeline of this woman’s disappearance. The following is as accurate of a timeline that is currently available regarding the disappearance of Naomi Irion.
Saturday March 12, 2022 at approximately 5:09 a.m.
Naomi parked her car at the Walmart store in Fernley, Nevada on March 12th at around 5:09 in the morning. She was waiting for the shuttle van to take her to her job at Panasonic, which is located closer to Reno. This is the very last known sighting of the missing Nevada woman, before she was presumably kidnapped. Authorities have widely circulated stills from security footage, which show the missing woman wearing her Panasonic t-shirt and a cardigan. During this time, Naomi was active on social media and talking to friends on Snapchat. This activity ceased at 5:23 a.m.
At 5:24 a.m., exactly one minute after Naomi’s phone made its last ping to Snapchat, the suspect in her abduction approached her vehicle and enters it through the driver’s side. This is captured on surveillance footage at the Walmart parking lot in Fernley. Exactly one minute following this, at 5:25 a.m., her vehicle leaves the parking lot of the Walmart store, and she is in the passenger side of the car. She never shows up for work on this day.

Naomi Irion misses a second day of work at Panasonic. At this time, nobody in her family even knows that she is missing. Her brother, whom she lives with, isn’t aware that his sister is missing until Sunday evening, March 13th. Upon calling Naomi’s work, he is notified that she missed two full days of work with no call-in. It is finally at this time, on Sunday night, that her brother reported her missing. It was 11:00 p.m., by the time the disappearance of Naomi Irion was alerted to authorities.

Overall, the timeline provided above is all that is known for a fact about this case. There have been no major developments since the discovery of Naomi’s car on the 15th. There have been coordinated ground searches, media interviews with family members, and heightened social media discussion by thousands of people — but there have been no new developments or updates in the actual search for Naomi Irion.
