The search for Naomi Irion continues after a massive ground search came out unsuccessful in Fernley on Saturday. The event attracted over 450 people, including members of law enforcement and search and rescue organizations. Several people from the community — and surrounding areas — gathered to try to locate the missing Nevada woman, or evidence behind her presumed kidnapping.
According to KOLO News, the brother of the missing woman is still pushing for awareness while hundreds of Northern Nevada residents lend assistance. While most of Naomi’s family is in South Africa, her father has come to Nevada to help in the search.
“I’m here and I’ll do whatever, even if I have to lose my life, as long as she’s in good health,” said Herve Irion.
Naomi Irion was reportedly kidnapped a week ago while at the Walmart store in Fernley, Nevada. Security footage has been released by police which shows the suspect lurking around the parking lot before letting himself into the driver’s side of Naomi’s car. A blue truck is also being sought in association with this case.
If you know anything about Naomi’s disappearance or if you think you might know something about the evidence that’s been publicized, please call 911 immediately. This is an urgent case and the more time that passes the harder it will be to keep public awareness on Naomi. Furthermore, the longer this woman remains missing, the lesser the chances are that she’ll be found alive.
