A Las Vegas woman is lucky to be alive after authorities say she was stabbed by a man who had been holding her captive for several days. The identity of the victim isn’t being publicized, but police in Las Vegas have arrested the man they say committed this series of violent acts.
According to 8 News Now, 35-year-old Jonathan Allison is accused of violently kidnapping the unidentified victim in the company of several other people (who are also not being named at this time). The victim of the attack told police that she was in a vehicle with Allison and several other people — none of whom would allow her to leave the vehicle. Allison allegedly shoved the barrel of a handgun into the victim’s mouth and threatened that she was going to be murdered.
From there, the unidentified Las Vegas woman was taken to an apartment where she was held captive for several days by Jonathan Allison. According to authorities, the apartment belongs to a friend of Allison who was pet-sitting at the time of the incident. Authorities say Allison was pet-sitting his friend’s ferret. The victim of the incident says that she was stabbed in the back by her captor upon entering the apartment. Over the course of several days she was stabbed multiple times in her legs, and threatened with a firearm. The victim tried to fight off her attacker with a blowtorch but was beaten unconscious.
The Las Vegas man allegedly took the woman from the unspecified apartment to a convenience store on March 8th. It was there that a witness with a keen eye noticed that the woman looked to be in distress and injured. She was able to get away from Allison, call 911 and board a bus to escape the man accused of trying to kill her. This case ended miraculously, but it could have ended a lot worse. That is why Allison has been charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and a list of other charges associated with the crimes. He is currently being held on bond in the amount of $100k — but that amount seems far too low.
