Las Vegas man Accused of Multiple Violent Rapes

  A Las Vegas man has been arrested in association with several violent rapes of local prostitutes, and authorities are seeking help in locating other possible victims. Police say 29-year-old Denver Baoec-Ascuncion was arrested earlier this month after multiple women came forward recounting recent incidents of kidnapping and sexual assault. 8 News Now reports that the 28-year-old Las Vegas man faces multiple counts , and there may be other victims. Two separate prostitutes between December 20th and January 7th reportedly told police that Ascuncion picked them up and forced them into sexual acts. Both alleged victims claimed that the Las Vegas man used a firearm to threaten them. Non-virtual sex work (i.e., physical prostitution) is a dangerous line of work, especially in large cities like Las Vegas -- where rates of non-virtual sex work have increased by 50% in recent years. Jill Hankemeier Has Been Located

Jill Hankemeier was reported missing nearly a week ago, after she was reportedly last seen the day before St. Patrick’s Day. Over the past several days there have been close to zero updates in the searchy for the missing Chicago woman, but that has changed. As of today, it has been shared with loved ones that Jill is safe, and alive.

According to a Facebook post made by the aunt of Jill Hankemeier, the missing Chicago woman was located and is currently in the hospital. No clarifications are being given at this time as to why Jill is in the hospital, or the circumstances of her disappearance. What matters at this point, to her loved ones, is that she is safe and is no longer missing.

What happened to Jill Hankemeier while she was missing — and how did she end up in a Chicago hospital? Judging from the lack of media attention this case got, it’s probably safe to say the public will never know these details.

Kentucky woman Torilena May Fields has been arrested after police say she murdered her mother in a shocking and gruesome crime. Police say the 32-year-old not only shot and stabbed her 68-year-old mother, but she dismembered her and then tried to cook her body parts until they were charred. The Daily Mail reports that 32-year-old Torilena May Fields was arrested last week after a bizarre confrontation with authorities, who discovered a horrific scene at the home of her 68-year-old mother.
